- (i) کسی ڈگری رکھنے والے امیدواروں کے لئے: 39 سال
- (ii) بی ایل ڈگری رکھنے والے امیدواروں کے لئے: 40 سال
دوسروں کے لئے زیادہ سن:
- تمام عہدوں کے لئے مگر اسسٹنٹ کمشنر (سی ٹی) کے عہدے کے لئے: 34 سال
- اسسٹنٹ کمشنر (سی ٹی):-
- (i) کسی ڈگری رکھنے والے امیدواروں کے لئے: 34 سال
- (ii) بی ایل ڈگری رکھنے والے امیدواروں کے لئے: 35 سال
- عمر میں ریلیکسیشن کے قوانین کے مطابق ہے۔

تعلیمی قابلیت
- امیدواروں کو بھارت کی کینٹرل یا اسٹیٹ لیجسلیچر کے ایکٹ کے ذریعے شامل کردہ کسی بھی یونیورسٹی کی ڈگری ہونی چاہئے جو بھارت کے پارلیمنٹ کے ایکٹ کے تحت قائم کردہ کسی دوسری تعلیمی ادارے کی شاملیت یا 1956 کے یونیورسٹی گرانٹس کمیشن ایکٹ کے شق 3 کے تحت یونیورسٹی قرار دی گئی ہو۔
جسمانی تعلیمی قابلیت
ڈپٹی اسپرنٹنڈنٹ آف پولیس (کیٹاگری I):
- لڑکوں کے لئے: کم از کم 165 سینٹی میٹر لمبائی اور 86 سینٹی میٹر سینہ کا مشترک انسپیریشن پر اور پورے انسپیریشن پر کم از کم 5 سینٹی میٹر سینہ کا پھیلاو ہونا چاہئے۔
- لڑکیوں کے لئے: کم از کم 155 سینٹی میٹر لمبائی ہونی چاہئے۔ سینہ کی ناپ ان کے لئے نہیں ہوگی۔

- One Time Registration Fee: Rs. 150/-
- Preliminary Examination Fee: Rs.100/-
- Main Written Examination Fee: Rs. 200/-

- Payment Fee: Examination fee is payable online through Net Banking/ Credit card/ Debit card or it can be paid by offline at SBI/ HDFC Bank/ Post Office within 2 days from the date of submission of online application by choosing the option in the online application.

Educational Qualification
- Candidates should possess Degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or any other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as an University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
Physical Educational Qualification
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category I):
- For Men: Must be not less than 165 cms in Height and not less than 86 cms round the chest on full inspiration and must have a chest expansion of not less than 5 cms on full inspiration.
- For Women: Must be not less than 155 cms in Height. The Chest measurement will not apply to them.
